Recently, we’ve had some very awesome bloggers and people help this band to connect with lots of others by writing about us and helping to spread the word about amw.
As those of you who have been with us now for several years know, this band is a group effort (which many of you have been a big part of). As of yet, there’s been no MTV/Fuse, no giant national publications, no mass media corportaion of any sort getting us out there. Just you guys and we are truly grateful to you for that. A lot of our growth and longevity is really thanks to your work and people like those mentioned in this blog. Believe it or not, simply telling a friend about a band is a tremendous help.
This is by no means an extensive list, but some of the more recent really great help we have received. Please check out these sites and support their efforts to help independent bands and music. Help like this means the world to us and indie bands everywhere.
Eat Sleep Breathe Music Blog

Eat Sleep Breathe Music
Eat Sleep Breathe Music is a very active music blog that provides music reviews, interviews, and lots of great promotion for artists. Their motto is “All music, all the time, it’s our obsession.” Take a look at this page, and it’s obvious that this is what they do & do well.
They have featured us for Song of The Day (Unsound), promoted our upcoming shows, and most recently featured us as the “Unsigned Artist of the Week.”
You Sing, I Write Blog

You Sing, I Write
Annie Reuter runs this really cool
music blog, where she writes about her “adventures touring with bands, traveling to music festivals and uncovering the inside scoop of what it’s like being an up-and-coming band in this crazy, constantly changing music business.”
She recently told us that she heard about us from a good friend and decided to feature us as the “
Band of the Week.”
JANiE Blog

- JANiE blog
JANiE is a great blog by Monica Perry that provides “commentary and criticism of television, film, and music.”
She wrote a very kind and enthusiastic review of the band–and it’s honestly one of the nicest things I’ve ever read about the music. She’s also helping us to promote our competition for Warped Tour right on the page. You can check it out here.
Monalisa – band

- Monalisa
Monalisa is a really talented pop/rock band from Moscow, Russia.
Their bassist Vladimir and his girlfriend Daria have been promoting amw tremendously. Recently, they created a Russian fan page for us and have been recruiting people to join. Right now the page has over 500 members. On this page, they translated our bio into Russian, provided access to our music & much more, and post updates about the band.
There are truly countless other individuals and efforts that have helped us over the years and we thank all of you guys from the bottom of our hearts for that.
If you are doing something to promote independent bands, feel free to leave a comment with your link or information below. It’s a really great effort and it’s amazing to see that the kids are taking over.
